To register to vote in Florida, you must: |

|
- Be a United
States citizen. |
|
|
| |
|
-
Be a Florida resident. |
|
|
| |
|
-
Be at least 18 years old. You may pre-register if you are 16 years of
age. You will be able to vote when you turn 18 years of age. |
|
|
| |
|
- Not now be adjudicated mentally
incapacitated, with respect to voting
in Florida, or any other
state. |
|
|
| |
|
- Not have been convicted of a felony in
Florida, or any other state,
without your civil rights having
been restored. |
|
|
| |
|
-
Not claim the right to vote in another county or state.
|
|
|
| |
|
|
|
|
| |
|
Voter Registration books close 29 days prior
to each election. In order to be eligible to vote in an
election, you must be registered prior to the deadline. |

You may apply for voter registration by
submitting a
Florida Voter Registration Application Form to your
Supervisor of Elections office. Registration forms are
available at any Elections office, driver’s license office,
public libraries, public assistance agencies (HRS), armed forces
recruitment offices, and government offices. |

It is the voter's responsibility to notify
the Elections Office if you: |

Change your address (moved within the county) |

- By phone,
fax, email, or in writing |

Change your address (moved from out of county), or change
your name, political party, or to update
your signature |

- Fill out a
Florida Voter Registration Application and
mail it to our office
or visit any of our agencies and they will forward it to the Elections
Office |
